BEACH HOUSES

This painting is of The Barrier Beach of Fire Island,NY. It is like city living with sand, sun and surf. This is a old painting I did a while ago. I wanted to post a painting today but the

humidity here on Long Island is very high and I have a back up of paintings that are still wet. I am waiting to scan them. My camera is not working very well so I have to use my scanner.

SMITH POINT COUNTY BEACH

Last February I went to the beach with two of my daughters. It was a nice day compared to the days we were having . I took some pictures and totally forgot about them untill the other day when I was going thru my photos on my computer.

To get to Smith Point you have to go on a bridge that goes over the Great South Bay. When you get to the end of the bridge you are on the Barrier Beach called Fire Island. This is a county beach and a very popular beach.

This painting is a 5x7 oil on masonite.
