I will not be posting any new paintings for a few days. This weekend is a very busy weekend with an art show that I am going to and it is also my granddaughters 2nd birthday.
This week that is coming up is the last week my grandson and granddaughter will be with us.
We hope to do a few things with them and help my daughter pack up all the "stuff" that has been bought for them and send it to Florida where they live.
It has been a great visit and we are sad about them leaving .

LOUVRE
My daughter went to Paris last summer and sent me a post card of this pen and ink. I was in Paris seventeen years ago. This postcard brought back a lot of wonderful memories of a beautiful city that is full of so much history and architecture.This painting is a pen and ink with a watercolour wash. This is another painting from my February walk on the beach. Smith Point Beach is five miles of protected beach. The county offers campsites, saltwater fishing, waterfowl hunting, and a picnic ground area. Smith Point is the home of The TWA Memorial.5 x 7 oil on masonite.

SMITH POINT COUNTY BEACH
Last February I went to the beach with two of my daughters. It was a nice day compared to the days we were having . I took some pictures and totally forgot about them untill the other day when I was going thru my photos on my computer. To get to Smith Point you have to go on a bridge that goes over the Great South Bay. When you get to the end of the bridge you are on the Barrier Beach called Fire Island. This is a county beach and a very popular beach.

I love Paris in the springtime.........anytime!!!!!!!Bastille Day, the French national holiday, commemorates the storming of the Bastille, which took place on 14 July 1789.
I will be celebrating Bastille Day at my daughter and son-in-law's "BASTILLE PARTY." A day of French food, French Wine & Champagne......... and when the day is done we will "Qu'ils mangent de la brioche!!!!"

THE OLD FACTORY
I was looking thru a box of old photos not to long ago. I came across this old factory building photo. I have no idea where this building may been located or for that matter if it is still around.
